Carl Sagan has written on of the greatest speeches I have listened to in my time and I am listening to it again for the upteenth time as I write this post. It has a way to inspire you, to humble you, to lift you up and to ground you all at the same time.
It’s one of those thing that humanity as a collective needs to watch time and time again until it sinks in, to gain perspective on our problems as individuals and to underscore the importance of our lives as a species. The need to work together, to live together and to see that we are all the same. We all have the same fears and the same desires and it is simply a madness of our own creation that would make us think otherwise.
